Finishing and Assembly
The ears are symmetrical, so try them on the head first to decide which side will face forward. Then, sew the ear details onto the front-facing side.
Create the nose by repeating small stitches using either yarn or embroidery floss. Then, sew the ears onto the head, folding them slightly as you stitch to give them a more 3D shape. If you're not using safety eyes, you can now embroider simple eyes using the same yarn as the nose. To finish, secure the tails with a knot underneath the head.
Stuff the body firmly, and optionally add a small bean bag for extra weight and a satisfying hand feel. Lightly stuff the arms, but leave the legs and tail unstuffed. Then, sew all the parts onto the body, making sure the arms are angled slightly forward for a natural look.
